Rustic Ridge Contracting Ltd. is looking for a motivated, reliable Equipment Operator / Construction Worker to join our growing team.

We are a local construction company specializing in acreage development, road building, excavation, site preparation, concrete, and general construction. Most of our work is located south of Calgary.

We are looking for someone with equipment operating experience who is also comfortable working as part of a construction crew and taking on a variety of tasks.

What You’ll Do

● Operate equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders and other construction equipment

● Assist with excavation, road building and site preparation

● Perform general construction and labour tasks as required

● Assist with concrete, grading, drainage and other site work

● Load, unload and move materials

● Maintain a clean and organized work site

● Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues

● Follow safety procedures and work efficiently as part of a team

● Take direction and work independently when required

● Be willing to learn and take on new responsibilities as the company continues to grow

What We’re Looking For

● Previous experience operating construction equipment





● Experience with excavators and skid steers is an asset

● General construction experience

● Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Good communication skills

● Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

● Valid driver’s licence

● Class 1 licence is an asset, but not required

● Safety tickets are an asset
