Position Overview The Event Support team member provides hands-on support during and after private events, weddings, buyouts, and large parties. This role is focused on keeping the restaurant organized, clean, and event-ready by assisting with side duties, clearing and resetting spaces, restocking, and supporting the event and service teams as needed.

This is a casual position. Shifts will be offered based on the needs of the business and upcoming events. There is no guarantee of a minimum number of hours, and team members will be contacted when Event Support shifts are available.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Support

- Assist the Event Supervisor, Event Manager, and Manager on Duty with event-related tasks.
- Support the service team during busy periods by completing side duties and keeping service areas organized.
- Assist with clearing tables, glassware, dishes, and other items throughout and following events.
- Keep service stations, back-of-house areas, and event spaces clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Restock glassware, cutlery, napkins, service supplies, and other items as required.
- Assist with garbage, recycling, and general cleaning duties throughout the event and at close.

Restaurant Reset

- Assist with resetting the restaurant following weddings, buyouts, private events, and large parties.




- Return tables, chairs, décor, and other restaurant items to their proper locations.
- Reset tables and dining areas according to restaurant standards.
- Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and ready for the next service.
- Assist with preparing event spaces for the following day's service or event.

Closing & Side Duties

- Complete assigned closing and side duties thoroughly and efficiently.
- Polish cutlery and glassware as required.
- Refill and organize service stations.
- Assist with cleaning and organizing event equipment and supplies.
- Follow all closing procedures and direction from the Manager on Duty.
- Communicate any maintenance, cleanliness, or supply concerns to a manager.

What We're Looking For

- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant and event environment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and organized.
- Able to take direction and work independently once tasks are assigned.
- Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever support is needed.
- Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods and regularly lift, carry, bend, and move restaurant items safely.




- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or event experience is an asset but not required.

Scheduling Event Support is a casual position. Shifts are not regularly scheduled and will be offered based on event volume and operational needs.

Team members will be contacted when shifts become available and can indicate their availability for the shift being offered. Availability and reliability will be considered when offering future Event Support shifts.

- Employee has no guaranteed minimum hours.
- Shifts are offered based on event requirements.
- Event shifts may be scheduled for up to 12 hours.
- The employee's schedule is established in advance.
- Overtime is calculated according to the applicable averaging arrangement.
- The employee remains entitled to overtime where the averaging-period threshold is exceeded.
- All hours actually worked must be recorded.

What Success Looks Like A successful Event Support team member is someone the events and service teams can count on to see what needs to be done and get it done. You don't need to wait to be asked to restock a station, explicit a table, reset a room, or tidy an area. Your work helps the rest of the team focus on the guest experience while ensuring the restaurant is ready for whatever comes next. This role is all about being the extra set of hands that keeps events running smoothly and gets the restaurant back to our standards.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
