Experienced Carpenter Wanted

Tekton Design & Property Management is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our crew in the St. John’s/Paradise area.

Responsibilities

- Complete residential wood framing, including floors, walls, roofs and structural openings

- Read and work from architectural and engineered drawings

- Complete interior renovations and general carpentry

- Install doors, windows, flooring, trim and finish materials

- Perform demolition, structural repairs and exterior work

- Direct carpenter helpers and less-experienced crew members when required

- Maintain accurate, effective and high-quality workmanship

- Follow jobsite safety requirements and keep work areas organized

Requirements

- Strong residential framing and renovation experience

- Able to work independently and solve common jobsite problems

- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights

- Reliable, punctual and able to maintain a productive pace

- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation

- Own basic hand tools, safety boots and PPE

- Red Seal certification is an asset but not required

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
