Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, confident, and highly skilled Medical Aesthetician to join our team. This position is ideal for an aesthetician who has hands-on experience working in a medical aesthetics environment and is comfortable independently performing advanced skin and laser-based treatments.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of skin health, medical-grade skincare, treatment planning, and laser technology. We are looking for someone who is confident performing consultations, assessing individual skin concerns, recommending appropriate treatment plans, and providing exceptional results-driven care.

This is a medical aesthetics position, and previous hands-on experience with advanced aesthetic treatments and laser equipment is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform a variety of medical-grade facial and skin treatments, including customized facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, mesotherapy, and other advanced skin treatments.
- Confidently operate medical aesthetic laser and energy-based equipment, including IPL treatments for pigmentation, vascular concerns, skin rejuvenation, and other appropriate indications.
- Perform laser hair removal treatments safely and effectively.
- Training will be provided: perform TempSure treatments, including skin tightening and rejuvenation procedures.
- Training will be provided: Perform CoolSculpting treatments, including client assessment, treatment planning, application placement, and post-treatment care.
- Conduct thorough skin consultations and assessments to identify client concerns and develop customized treatment plans.
- Educate clients on realistic treatment expectations, pre- and post-treatment care, and appropriate treatment schedules.




- Recommend professional and medical-grade skincare products based on each client's individual skin needs and treatment goals.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding ZO Skin Health and Vivier products; previous experience with these lines is considered a strong asset.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, treatment notes, photographs, and consent documentation.
- Follow all clinic protocols regarding treatment safety, sanitation, infection prevention, client confidentiality, and equipment operation.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment rooms.
- Assist with scheduling, client communication, and front-desk responsibilities when required.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, aestheticians, and administrative staff to provide a high standard of client care.
- Participate in ongoing education, manufacturer training, workshops, and seminars to remain current with advancements in medical aesthetics.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Medical Aesthetician required; additional experience is strongly preferred.
- Certification or diploma in Medical Aesthetics or Advanced Aesthetics.
- Demonstrated experience performing medical-grade facials and advanced skin treatments.
- Hands-on experience operating laser/IPL and other medical aesthetic devices.
- Strong knowledge of skin types, skin conditions, contraindications, treatment protocols, and appropriate treatment selection.




- Comfortable conducting independent consultations and developing customized treatment plans.
- Experience with laser hair removal, IPL, chemical peels, TempSure, CoolSculpting, and similar technologies is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience with ZO Skin Health and/or Vivier is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to educate clients and build long-term relationships.
- Professional, dependable, organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Robust commitment to client safety, confidentiality, and exceptional standards of care.
