900 Degrees Bistro (Sidney) is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. With a 4.5 Star Rating on Google, our front of house team plays a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Excellent service is matched with excellent food produced in our 900 Degrees wood-fired oven, on display in our open-kitchen environment for guests to enjoy.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the service area.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items,
including ingredients and preparation methods, to effectively assist guests.
- Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
Qualifications
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong background in the food industry.
- A strong understanding of the food service industry.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to connect with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or barista roles is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work well within a team setting.
