We are interviewing to fill the position of Auto Credit Manager!
The Auto Credit Manager is responsible for providing an exceptional experience to our guests by developing and fostering long-term relationships with them and sub prime lending institutions. The Auto Credit Manager must have in-depth knowledge of the nonprime/subprime market and its lenders. Integrity, discretion and professionalism are required traits as is a passion for making a difference every single day!
Job Duties:
- Work with guests to assist them in establishing or re-establishing their credit by providing them with vehicle options that will allow them to do that.
- Responsible for the entire sales process from front to back
- Recommends/sells after sales products to our guests
- Effective and timely utilization of dealership management systems and crm tools and procedures to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Maintain a current knowledge of manufacturer products, rebates, financing, leasing and incentive programs.
- Read, understand and adhere to all DAG rules, regulations and procedures as required.
- Work in strict compliance with the laws of Ontario and Canada.
- Ensure all work performed is thorough, accurate and completed on time.
- Preparation of all documentation, contracts, registration, submission, funding, commissioning, etc.
related to all transactions and sales/leases of vehicles.
- Maintain all reports and records as required by the manufacturer, dealership and suppliers.
- Attend sponsored training as scheduled.
- Ensure effective communication with all involved (sales/service/accounting) and provide proactive updates to guests throughout the purchase and delivery journey.
Successful Candidates Possess:
- Minimum 2 years experience and demonstrated success in a prime or sub prime role
- A valid OMVIC license
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Self directed with the ability and desire to work closely with all stakeholders (Loyalty, sales, service, accounting, lending institutions)
- Excellent listening skills.
- Effective problem solving skills and high attention to detail.
- Versatile schedule
