As a key player in the Corporate Underwriting team, you'll report directly to the Supervisor, analyzing data to uncover issues such as subpar controls or fraud.
You'll play a significant role in reviewing business submissions for compliance with underwriting rules and conducting audits for optimal systems. Your strong relationship-building skills are crucial for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to foster support and change. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze underwriting data to detect deficiencies and compliance issues
- Perform audits on new systems pre-implementation
- Verify adherence to underwriting policies for recent and renewal applications
- Suggest improvements for systems and documentation clarity
- Produce management reports to facilitate decision-making Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant field
- 8 years of underwriting experience in Automobile and Property
- Desired CIP or FCIP designation
- Willingness to pursue auditing certificates
- Proficient with relevant technology and Microsoft Office Utilize your expertise to reinforce AMA's commitment to protecting members through effective underwriting practices.
