Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plant/Office Cleaner to support the cleanliness and sanitation of our manufacturing and office facilities.
Position Summary The Plant/Office Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and general upkeep throughout office and designated plant areas. This includes offices, lunchrooms, kitchens, washrooms, common areas, and building entrances. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming workplace for employees and visitors. Key Responsibilities
Cleaning &
- Sanitation Sweep, vacuum, mop, and dust floors and surfaces throughout assigned areas
Clean and sanitize offices, lunchrooms, kitchens, change rooms, washrooms, and common areas
Clean and sanitize lunchroom tables, counters, and kitchen areas following employee breaks
Empty garbage and recycling bins throughout plant and office areas
Clean and maintain sinks, dishwashers, coffee machines, microwaves, refrigerators, and other common-area appliances Facility Upkeep Restock and maintain washroom supplies throughout the shift
Maintain clean and clear indoor and outdoor entrances
Assist with snow removal and salting at entrances during winter conditions, as required
Report maintenance, repair, or replacement needs to the Maintenance Department or Manager Workplace &
- Event Support Assist with setup and cleanup for company events, meetings, and special occasions
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in an organized manner
Support additional cleaning and facility-related duties as required Qualifications &

Experience &
- Technical Skills Previous commercial, industrial, or office cleaning experience preferred
Knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene practices
Experience safely using cleaning products, supplies, and equipment
Ability to clean and maintain workplace appliances and common areas Personal Attributes Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong awareness of workplace health and safety requirements Working Conditions Work performed throughout office, manufacturing, lunchroom, washroom, and common areas
Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive cleaning activities
May involve lifting and moving cleaning supplies, garbage, and equipment
Some outdoor work may be required for entrance maintenance and winter conditions
