We are seeking a dedicated Livestock Worker / Farm Machinery Operator to support both our swine production activities and our crop‑production operations. This role involves hands‑on livestock care, barn sanitation, facility maintenance, and the safe operation of farm machinery for fieldwork. The ideal candidate is physically capable, reliable, and able to work in a quick‑paced agricultural environment.

- Raise and care for livestock — feed, water, monitor animals, and assist with routine herd‑management tasks under supervision.
- Follow biosecurity and safety protocols — adhere to all farm security, sanitation, and animal‑health procedures.
- Assist with piglet processing — support routine litter‑management tasks
- Maintain barns and livestock facilities — clean barns, pens, alleys, and barnyards; remove manure; disinfect work areas.
- Operate farm machinery for crop production — safely operate tractors, loaders, skid steers, tillage equipment, mowers, and other machinery for planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
- Perform fieldwork and crop‑related tasks — assist with soil preparation, seeding, fertilizing, spraying, and harvesting as required.
- Support general farm maintenance — basic repairs, equipment cleaning, yard work, and seasonal tasks.
- Work effectively in variable conditions — perform duties in dusty,



noisy environments and in all weather conditions across various local farm locations.

Requirements:
- Livestock handling skills — Ability to work safely around pigs and follow biosecurity protocols.
- Farm machinery operation — Basic ability to operate tractors, loaders, skid steers, and field equipment (training provided).
- Physical capability — Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in dusty, noisy, and all‑weather environments.
- Work environment readiness — Comfortable working in barns, fields, and multiple local farm sites.
- Teamwork and reliability — Ability to follow instructions, work cooperatively, and maintain punctuality.
- Safety and biosecurity compliance — Willingness to follow strict sanitation, PPE, and animal‑health procedures.
- Driver’s licence — Valid driver’s licence is an asset for travel between farm locations.
