Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Farm Manager to lead the daily operations of a thriving agricultural enterprise. In this role, you will oversee crop production, manage farm personnel, ensure equipment functionality, and maintain optimal farm conditions. Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all farming activities including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and crop maintenance.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, tillers, and other heavy equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee irrigation systems to optimize water usage and ensure proper hydration of crops.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, tools, and infrastructure; perform or coordinate repairs as needed using hand tools and power tools.
- Manage farm personnel by assigning tasks, providing training on machinery operation and safety procedures, and monitoring performance.
- Implement horticultural best practices to promote healthy crop growth and maximize yields.
- Maintain accurate records of farm activities, equipment maintenance logs,



inventory supplies, and crop progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards while promoting a safe working environment for all staff.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in farm management or agricultural operations with strong leadership skills.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair farm machinery and equipment.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, horticulture principles, and crop management techniques.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently; experience with power tools is preferred.
- Basic math skills for measuring inputs, calculating yields, and managing inventories.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and task planning.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
