Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Farm Supervisor to lead and oversee daily farm operations, ensuring the health, productivity, and safety of our agricultural environment. Duties

- Supervise daily farm activities, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and pest control
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across fields and crops
- Conduct routine inspections of crops, soil conditions, and farm infrastructure to identify issues early
- Manage farm staff schedules, assign tasks, and provide training on the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during heavy lifting, equipment operation, and maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of farm activities, equipment maintenance logs, and crop progress reports

- Cut agricultural crops
- Greenhouse cleaning




- Oversee the activities of clearing the fields
- Maintain financial and production records
- Negotiate with clients for provision of services
- Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
- Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
- Maintain quality control and production records
- Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
- Hire and train staff
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Perform general farm duties
- Supervise 5-10 people

Requirements

- Proven experience in horticulture or farming operations with strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and farm equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, crop management, and sustainable farming practices
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and performing basic maintenance tasks
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting or irrigation schedules
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and troubleshoot issues promptly
