Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling menu items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and order fulfillment
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including giving change and processing card payments
- Assist with food handling duties such as packaging, portioning, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS and basic math skills for cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced workplace
- Basic understanding of upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities
