KCL Cattle Company Ltd. is seeking an experienced Feedlot Pen Checker to join our growing cattle operation in the Lethbridge–Coaldale area.

This role is ideal for someone with strong horsemanship and livestock handling experience who takes pride in animal care and early cattle health detection.

Horse allowance provided.

What You'll Do

· Ride horseback daily to monitor cattle health and behavior

· Identify and pull sick or injured cattle

· Assist with sorting cattle for treatment

· Ensure cattle have proper access to feed and water

· Inspect pens and facilities for safety and maintenance issues

· Record animal health observations and treatments

· Work closely with the animal health team and feedlot staff

Applicants must:

· Have minimum 2 years of pen riding or livestock handling experience

· Be comfortable riding horses daily in a feedlot environment

· Understand basic cattle health indicators

· Have strong stockmanship and cattle handling skills

· Hold a valid driver's license

· Be reliable and team-oriented

· Experience operating skid steer or loader
