We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Cantonese-speaking caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. Duties
- Provide personalized assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Assist with medication administration according to prescribed schedules and safety protocols.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper hygiene and safety standards are maintained during food handling.
- Support patients with mobility challenges through safe lifting, transferring, and positioning techniques.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning living spaces, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment.
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to family members or healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living, home care, nursing homes, or hospice care environments.
- Strong background in patient care, senior care, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities.
- Fluency in Cantonese is essential; proficiency in English is preferred for effective communication.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks with energy and resilience.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with a caring attitude, patience, and empathy.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed.
