Join Adams Lake Indian Band as a Finance Officer focused on Accounts Receivable. This in-office role encompasses critical financial functions essential for effective operations. You will work closely with the Senior Accountant to manage a variety of accounts receivable tasks, including invoices preparation and transaction processing.
Your input will directly impact the financial accuracy of the band and its affiliates, making it a crucial role in the organization. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and responding to inquiries regarding A/R matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounts receivable sub-ledger and records
- Reconcile monthly A/R to general ledger accounts
- Prepare and issue utility bills and garnishment check requisitions
- Process payments and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide A/R aged trial balance reports to supervisors Requirements:
- Minimum of Grade 12 education required
- Previous experience in accounts receivable
- Solid MS Office and Adagio accounting skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
