Insight Global is partnering with a leading Canadian cooperative to hire a Finance Director for a multi-year ERP transformation initiative. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for leading the Finance workstream through the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and supporting future phases of the program as it evolves. The successful candidate will serve as the key Finance leader within the transformation program, driving process design, testing, cutover activities, go-live readiness, and adoption across the business.
Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end Finance workstream for a large-scale ERP implementation Act as the primary Finance subject matter expert throughout the transformation lifecycle Partner with business stakeholders, executive leadership, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery Oversee finance process design, system testing, cutover planning, and go-live execution Drive continuous process improvement and finance transformation initiatives Manage relationships with systems integrators, implementation partners, and third-party delivery teams Support agile delivery methodologies, including sprint planning, reviews, and prioritization Present project updates, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership Required Qualifications 5-10+ years of progressive Finance leadership experience Minimum 5 years of experience at the Director, Controller,
or equivalent leadership level Proven experience leading a Finance workstream or serving as a senior Finance SME on a large ERP implementation Demonstrated ownership of ERP design, testing, cutover, and go-live activities Deep expertise across: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Cash & Bank Management Fixed Assets Cost Accounting Budgeting & Forecasting Treasury Experience working within Agile delivery environments and sprint-based project frameworks Experience managing systems integrators, vendors, and third-party implementation teams Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills Compensation: $150K - $180K per year + full advantages packages Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D.; Employees will also have access to a registered retirement savings account with employer matching.
