New 12-month contract open now in downtown Toronto! Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a FinOps Analyst in the finance sector in Toronto, Ontario. We are seeking an experienced FinOps Specialist to support cloud and technology cost analysis, financial reporting, and spend optimization across multiple vendors.

Responsibilities

- Analyze cloud and technology spending data from multiple vendors and systems
- Reconcile billing, usage, and financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities
- Build reports and dashboards that provide visibility into technology spend and consumption
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and vendor reviews
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, and Technology teams to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations

Requirements

- Experience in FinOps, cloud cost management,



technology financial management, or data/financial analysis
- Strong skills in SQL and advanced Excel
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar analytics tools
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- FinOps certification will be considered an asset
- Python or automation experience will be considered an asset

Soft skills

- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
