Beyond the Basics Fitness Equipment Services Ltd. is a busy commercial fitness equipment company looking for a dependable, energetic Service & Delivery Technician to join our Calgary team.

Fitness equipment experience is an asset, but it is NOT required. If you are mechanically inclined, enjoy troubleshooting and fixing things, like working with your hands, and are willing to learn, we will train the right candidate.

This is a excellent opportunity for someone looking for a hands-on career where every day is a little different.

What You’ll Do

As a Fitness Equipment Service Technician, you will:

- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial fitness equipment
- Service cardio and strength equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Assist with equipment installations, deliveries and removals
- Work at fitness facilities and commercial customer locations throughout Calgary and surrounding areas
- Accurately document service calls, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Complete timesheets and basic electronic service documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers and our sales/service team
- Provide excellent customer service
- Work safely and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team

Who We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is

- Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working with tools and repairing equipment
- Reliable, organized and able to manage their time effectively
- Able to work independently and unsupervised
- Physically capable of handling the demands of equipment service and delivery
- Positive and professional when dealing with customers
- Willing and eager to learn




- Comfortable using email, the internet, a smartphone and basic electronic forms
- Flexible when occasional schedule changes are required

Previous fitness equipment repair experience is strongly preferred, but we will train the right mechanically inclined candidate. Experience in any of the following may be an asset:

Fitness equipment repair Appliance repair Automotive Small engines Electrical Mechanical repair Maintenance HVAC Equipment installation Field service General mechanical work

Requirements

- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a criminal record check
- Smartphone
- Own basic hand tools — specialized tools are supplied
- References required

Pay & Benefits $18.00 - 25.00 per hour, depending on experience and ability

Schedule Typical hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
