Floral Designer

What You’ll Do

- Design and create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on floral selections.
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions while ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Create visually appealing merchandising displays that attract customers.
- Stay updated on industry trends in floral design to inspire innovative creations.
- Hand-tie bouquets and arrange floral products following recipes as well as creating your own stunning designs
- Receive, clean, and prepare flowers and greenery, ensuring all product is healthy and up to brand standards
- Contribute to shop care - sweeping, cleaning buckets, cleaning coolers, stocking, and unpacking
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications





- 3+ years proven experience in floral design with a robust portfolio showcasing your work.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Strong sense of initiative, problem-solving, and leading change.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online sales
- Multilingual abilities to cater to a diverse customer base

We hire for attitude and aptitude (mostly), but this role does require a number of years of experience in a florist. Do not apply if you do not have significant experience in a physical florist shop! We will request to see your portfolio upon application.
