THE ROLE

We are hiring Forklift Operators for our Vaughan distribution centre, on both:

DAY SHIFT : 7 AM - 4 PM

EVENING SHIFT : 4 PM - 12 PM

This is a narrow-aisle operation. You'll be putting away and pulling stock from high racking, replenishing pick locations, and supporting receiving and shipping through the day. Much of what we move is ceramics, glassware, and décor — so a smooth, controlled operator who brings product down intact matters more to us than a fast one who doesn't.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate a reach truck safely to put away, retrieve, and relocate stock in narrow-aisle racking
- Replenish pick faces and forward-pick locations to keep order fulfillment moving
- Support receiving: unload inbound containers and trailers, verify counts against paperwork, and stage product for put-away
- Support shipping: stage, wrap, and load outbound orders and trailers
- Record inventory movements accurately using RF scanners and our warehouse system




- Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report any defects immediately
- Keep aisles, racking, and work areas clean, clear, and safe
- Handle fragile product with care — proper stacking, secure loads, and controlled movement.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, and support other warehouse tasks as needed during peak periods

REQUIREMENTS

Essential

- Valid reach truck certification or experience, current and in good standing
- 1+ year of hands-on reach truck experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Comfortable operating at height in narrow aisles
- Able to read and work from pick lists, labels, and shipping documents
- Comfortable using RF scanners or a warehouse management system
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing or seated on equipment for a full shift
- Reliable attendance and punctuality — shifts depend on a full crew
- Safety-focused, with a habit of speaking up when something isn't right

Desirable

- Certification on additional equipment (counterbalance, order picker, walkie)
- Experience handling fragile or high-value goods
- Experience in a seasonal or peak-driven distribution environment

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
