Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move inventory items with precision and care
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records accurately
- Assist with order picking processes to fulfill customer orders efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical functionality and safety compliance
- Support warehouse organization by stacking, sorting, and storing products in designated areas
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain a clean, safe work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts, and order pickers in a warehouse setting
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
- Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and standing for extended periods
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and proper equipment handling procedures
- Basic computer skills to navigate warehouse management systems effectively
