We are looking for an individual to join our TEAM here at Nemcor!

Summary:

This is a key position for ensuring Flexibility and Teamwork within the warehouse. The successful candidate must demonstrate a firm commitment to 5S, and the willingness to be cross-trained throughout the warehouse.

Material Handler includes: Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Control, Order Picking and overall Warehouse Organization.

Minimum Job Specifications

1. Ability to operate Lift Truck or be trained to operate Lift Truck.

2.Inspect equipment each morning prior to usage and service all Forklifts.
1. Material Management courses or equivalent an asset.
2. Must be mechanically inclined.

5.Heavy lifting required; must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Solid organization skills with attention to detail.
- Computer skills are necessary.
- Experience in a Warehouse/Distribution environment an asset.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

1. Drive sweeper throughout the warehouse, ensuring floor is kept clean.
2.



Clean up any broken wood from pallets, pieces of cardboard, garbage etc. left in aisles.
3. Perform any painting or light maintenance required on doors, dock plates, lights, offices, floors, etc.
4. Re-enforce 5S initiatives for 501 Franklin.
5. Ensure facility is maintained to meet health and safety objectives.
6. Able to assist in repairs to Production equipment and regular maintenance of the machines/conveyors.
