Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct formwork for various concrete structures.
- Assemble and install formwork using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to create molds for pouring concrete.
- Install rebar reinforcement within formwork to strengthen concrete components according to specifications.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes to position large formwork panels safely and efficiently.
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and restoration tasks to ensure smooth surfaces and structural integrity.




- Conduct inspections of formwork systems during construction to identify issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Collaborate with masons, carpenters, welders, and other trades to coordinate activities on-site for seamless project execution.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment confidently.
- Proven experience in carpentry, concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, and restoration techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Skilled in concrete finishing techniques such as caulking and flooring installation to achieve high-quality results.
- Knowledge of welding practices and schematics related to structural components is a plus.
- Familiarity with renovation projects and the use of various construction materials including masonry products.
- Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks combined with excellent attention to safety protocols throughout all phases of work.
