We're looking for an established creative duo to join our roster - a team we can hand a brief to and trust to lead it from concept through delivery. This isn't a support role. When we call, you're running the project: developing the ideas, presenting them, producing them and managing the shoots that bring them to life.

Pound & Grain is a small, senior-led agency. No layers, no juniors, no one checking your work three times before it reaches the client. We built it that way on purpose. You'd work across brands in casual dining, education, healthcare, entertainment and more. Some months are busy, some aren't - that's the nature of a roster arrangement, and it works best for teams who already run their own freelance business.

Concept Development & Creative Leadership

- Lead creative development from brief through final delivery on assigned projects.
- Develop campaign platforms, big ideas and executions across digital, social, video and experiential.
- Work directly with our creative directors and team to shape the work - no layers in between.
- Ensure creative aligns with brand strategy and holds up under client scrutiny.

Production & Execution

- Deliver production-ready work - not decks of directions, finished assets.
- Manage production shoots end to end, including pre-pro, on-set direction and post oversight.
- Art direct photography, video and design execution across platforms.




- Write copy that's sharp on social, disciplined on scripts and consistent with brand voice.
- Use AI tools where they make the work faster or better and know when they don't.

Client & Team Engagement

- Present concepts and creative rationale directly to clients with clarity and confidence.
- Take feedback, evolve the work and know when to push back.
- Collaborate with our in-house team of designers, editors and producers when projects call for it.
- Uphold agency quality standards on every deliverable, every time.

Who You Are

- An established AD/CW team with real campaign work you led together.
- Senior enough to run a project, not just contribute to one.
- Experienced managing shoots and production without hand-holding.
- Fast, self-directed and comfortable with the rhythm of contract work.
