Freelance Live-Streaming Technician – Funeral & Memorial Services

Calgary & Surrounding Areas | Freelance / On-Call | $35/hour

We are looking for a reliable, professional, and respectful Freelance Live-Streaming Technician to join our team.

This is an on-call freelance position — NOT a full-time job. Services are offered as they are booked, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible additional work.

Position Details

- Rate: $35 per hour
- Minimum: 4 hours paid per assignment
- Employment: Freelance / Independent Contractor
- Schedule: On-call and service-based
- Location: Calgary and surrounding areas
- Vehicle: Reliable personal vehicle required
- Equipment: All professional livestreaming equipment is provided by us

Your Responsibilities You will be responsible for providing professional livestream support at funeral and memorial services, including:
- Pick up and transport the required equipment to the service location
- Arrive on time and professionally set up the livestream equipment
- Operate cameras and livestreaming equipment during the service
- Monitor the livestream to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues when necessary
- Safely pack and return the equipment after the service
- Maintain a professional, quiet, and respectful presence throughout the service

- Dependable and punctual
- Professional and well-presented




- Comfortable working independently
- Respectful and compassionate when working around grieving families
- Comfortable with computers, cameras, and basic AV technology
- Able to follow technical instructions carefully
- Available for occasional weekday and/or weekend assignments
- Able to travel throughout Calgary and surrounding areas
- In possession of a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Previous AV, livestreaming, camera, broadcast, or event-production experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person. We Provide Everything You Need

You do not need to purchase your own livestreaming equipment.

We provide the skilled equipment required for each assignment, along with training and instructions on our systems and procedures.
