We provide reliable, responsive, and tailored freight forwarding solutions for customers across domestic and international markets. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional service, solving problems proactively, and making every shipment as seamless as possible.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Freight Forwarding Logistics Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in managing the day-to-day movement of our customers’ freight.

The OpportunityAs a Freight Forwarding Logistics Coordinator, you’ll manage shipments from booking through final delivery, working closely with customers, carriers, customs brokers, overseas partners, and our internal team.

You’ll be responsible for keeping shipments moving, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete, communicating proactively with customers, and resolving issues before they become bigger problems.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate end-to-end air, ocean, and ground freight shipments, from booking through final delivery
- Arrange transportation with airlines, ocean carriers, trucking companies, warehouses, and other logistics partners
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate shipping and customs documentation, including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and related documents
- Coordinate with customs brokers and other service providers to support smooth and timely clearance
- Track and trace shipments and provide proactive status updates to customers and internal stakeholders

- Monitor shipment milestones, identify potential delays, and take timely corrective action
- Communicate with customers, carriers, overseas agents, brokers, and vendors to ensure expectations and delivery requirements are met
- Maintain accurate shipment files and records within the company’s logistics or freight management system
- Review shipment details, rates, charges, and documentation for accuracy
- Assist with freight quotations, bookings, billing, and other operational requirements as needed
- Resolve shipment discrepancies, service issues, and delivery challenges professionally and efficiently
- Ensure shipments are handled in accordance with applicable customs requirements, international trade regulations, Incoterms®, and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with sales, accounting, warehouse, and operations teams to provide a seamless customer experience
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors, and enhance service quality
- Support other operational projects and responsibilities as the business continues to grow

What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or a related field
- Solid understanding of international shipping and freight forwarding processes
- Practical knowledge of Incoterms®, customs procedures, and import/export documentation
- Experience coordinating with carriers, customs brokers, truckers, warehouses, and/or overseas agents

- Experience with air and ocean freight; ground and cross-border experience is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- French is considered an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Experience with a transportation management system, freight forwarding software, or platforms such as CargoWise is an asset
- A customer-first mindset and a genuine interest in delivering high-quality service

What Success Looks LikeIn this role, success means our customers know where their freight is, shipments move according to plan, documentation is accurate, and issues are addressed quickly and professionally. You’ll be someone who takes ownership, follows through on commitments, communicates before being asked, and looks for solutions rather than simply identifying problems.

Why Join Keen & Able Logistics?

- Competitive salary and benefits package
- A cooperative and supportive team environment
- Opportunities to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibility
- Exposure to a wide range of domestic and international freight movements
- A growing company where your contribution can have a direct impact
