Join our dynamic team as a Freight Dock Hand/General Labourer and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading freight, managing shipping and receiving tasks, and supporting the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse. Your mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, and attention to safety will help ensure that shipments are handled accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities

- General laborer and housekeeping duties (maintaining a clean shop, freight dock, break room, and shop bathroom).
- Load and unload trucks using various heavy equipment such as forklifts and other warehouse machinery
- Assist with order picking and packing to prepare shipments for delivery or storage
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently,



adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment like forklifts to ensure proper functioning
- Support warehouse organization by maintaining cleanliness, safety standards, and inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate the timely movement of goods in a fast-paced environment
