Role Description

ILIA English Academy is looking for an experienced French Instructor specializing in TEF Canada and TCF Canada preparation to join our team.

This is a remote teaching position for an instructor currently based in Canada . The instructor will work with students preparing for TEF and TCF exams, helping them develop the language skills, strategies, and confidence required to achieve their target scores.

Responsibilities include

- Teaching TEF Canada and TCF Canada preparation classes
- Providing focused instruction in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Familiarizing students with exam formats, requirements,



and effective test-taking strategies
- Providing detailed feedback and identifying areas for improvement
- Using practice materials and mock tests to monitor student progress
- Supporting students in reaching their target scores for immigration and other professional goals

Qualifications
- Proven experience teaching TEF Canada and/or TCF Canada preparation
- Strong knowledge of TEF and TCF exam formats, scoring criteria, and expectations
- Excellent command of French
- Previous experience teaching French to adult learners
- Strong communication and online teaching skills
- Ability to provide clear, constructive, and practical feedback
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently
- Currently based in Canada
- Experience helping students achieve competitive TEF/TCF scores is a robust asset
- TEF/TCF preparation experience is a key requirement for this position.
