About The Role As a Staff Frontend Engineer at Luxury Presence, you will serve as a technical authority responsible for our React-based micro-frontend platform that supports thousands of real estate businesses. Your expertise will guide the evolution of our design system, facilitate the migration from legacy UI libraries to a contemporary, Tailwind CSS-based component library, and establish frontend standards shared across AI agents and human engineers.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, driving innovation, and ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality, scalable frontend solutions. Collaborating closely with product, design, and AI teams, you will influence the technical direction and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.

Qualifications

- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant senior or staff‑level frontend roles
- Deep expertise in React 18/19, TypeScript, and up-to-date component architecture (hooks, compound components, render props, forwardRef patterns)




- Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale design systems, component libraries, and Figma‑to‑code workflows
- Strong command of Tailwind CSS, utility‑first styling, and CSS custom properties for theming and design tokens
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL, Apollo Client—including federation, code generation, cache management, and fragment composition
- Track record of leading large-scale frontend migrations from legacy UI libraries to modern systems without disrupting production
- Experience with micro-frontend architectures (single‑spa, module federation) and monorepo tooling (Turborepo, pnpm workspaces)
- Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques such as code splitting, tree‑shaking, bundle analysis, and lazy loading
- Familiarity with accessible component development adhering to WCAG standards, semantic HTML, and keyboard navigation
- Proficiency with modern frontend testing tools such as Vitest, Jest, React Testing Library, and Storybook-driven development

Responsibilities

- Own the architecture of our frontend platform, making critical technical decisions around module federation, code splitting, and scalability
- Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of our design system, including Radix UI, Tailwind CSS, and component library—ensuring accessibility, reusability, and consistency across web and native platforms




- Drive the migration strategy from legacy UI libraries like Material-UI and styled-components to a modern, Tailwind CSS-based system, ensuring minimal disruption and seamless user experience
- Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to ship intelligent, AI-native frontend features leveraging large language models, agent frameworks, and real-time data integrations
- Define and enforce frontend engineering standards, including development workflows, testing patterns, linting rules, and performance budgets
- Mentor and coach engineers across teams, elevating frontend best practices, troubleshooting complex design problems, and supporting career development
- Influence the integration of AI agents into the frontend development lifecycle, shaping how new features are built and deployed
- Ensure frontend performance, accessibility, and quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous optimization
