Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and efficient Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role plays a key part in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth day-to-day service operations. The ideal candidate has a passion for food service, strong customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced workplace. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food handling and POS systems are considered assets.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Greet and serve guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately using Clover POS or similar systems
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards
- Process cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales




- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, service stations, and utensils
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently followed
- Assist with basic food preparation when required
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple guests during busy periods
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving concerns promptly

Requirements

- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems (Clover POS an asset)
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math
- Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety practices
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak hours as needed
- Kitchen or food industry experience is an asset but not required
