Frontend-focused Full Stack Developer- Angular+ Java

Location: Montreal, Quebec ( Hybrid )

Candidate must be able to regularly attend the client office in Montreal as required. Local Montreal candidates are strongly preferred.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Frontend-focused Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML5 , along with solid DevOps, CI/CD, deployment, and application support experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong frontend architecture skills and moderate backend experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Apache Tomcat . Deep backend development expertise is not required.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML5 .
- Build and support backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Framework .
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications on Apache Tomcat .
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and development teams.
- Participate in application design, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
- Perform application support and troubleshooting using Unix/Linux command-line tools.
- Optimize application performance,



reliability, security, and scalability.
- Support software releases, testing, deployments, and production activities.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of frontend development experience.
- Robust hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML5 – Mandatory .
- Working knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and Apache Tomcat .
- Strong understanding of Unix/Linux environments and shell commands – Mandatory.
- Experience developing and supporting enterprise-grade web applications.
- Experience with DevOps deployments and application release processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of Java/Spring/Tomcat experience.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP .
- Experience with microservices and REST APIs .
- Mobile application development experience.
- Previous experience in financial services or regulated industries .
