Overview

Our surface mining operation is looking for an experienced and safety-oriented Fuel & Lube Technician to join our team in the Quesnel area.

This position plays a critical role in supporting our mining fleet by ensuring all heavy equipment is fueled, lubricated, and maintained to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. The successful candidate will work closely with operators and the maintenance team to ensure equipment is serviced safely and efficiently.

Skills and Experience Desired

· Experience servicing heavy equipment in a mining, construction, or forestry environment

· Knowledge of fueling, lubrication schedules, and preventative maintenance practices

· Experience operating service trucks (preferred)

· An excellent safety track record

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· A solution-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills

· A proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

· Comfort working from a camp environment on long rotations

Job Responsibilities





· Safely fuel and lubricate heavy equipment and support vehicles

· Complete daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical concerns

· Monitor fluid levels and perform routine preventative maintenance services

· Maintain accurate service records and fuel logs

· Keep the service truck clean, organized, and fully stocked with required supplies

· Respond promptly to field service requests to minimize equipment downtime

· Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations

· Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to support daily production
