Interior Health is seeking a full time Environmental Health Officer in Williams Lake until June 5th, 2027. You will manage diverse health protection initiatives that enhance community safety and health. As an Environmental Health Officer, you will deliver evidence-based programs and inspections, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Your role includes investigating complaints and carrying out risk assessments in various health-related facilities. You are expected to educate the community while promoting effective health strategies. Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect food and health establishments for safety compliance
- Investigate public health issues and health hazards
- Create and submit detailed reports on findings
- Engage in emergency health response actions
- Evaluate licensing applications for health facilities Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant health field
- Public Health Inspection certificate required
- Registration eligibility with CIPHI BC Branch
- Two years of experience in public health inspection
- Current BC Driver’s License Contribute to public health efforts as an Environmental Health Officer at Interior Health in Williams Lake.
