Elevate community services in Slave Lake by becoming the full time Manager of Facilities and Parks, where you will oversee diverse operational areas and engage with the public. Reporting to the Director of Community Services, this role requires initiative in project management, community liaison work, and facility operations. You will play a vital part in enhancing the town’s parks and facilities while demonstrating strong leadership and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure safe facility operation for public service delivery
- Utilize creativity to manage projects from conception to rollout
- Act as the primary liaison between the community and town initiatives




- Manage budgets while overseeing multiple operational phases
- Direct improvements and manage capital projects in parks Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a municipal context
- Familiar with Microsoft Suite and horticultural maintenance
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and lead teams
- Class 5 driver's license and up-to-date First Aid certification
- Experience with facility repairs and maintenance is preferred Support the community of Slave Lake through effective management and innovative practices in facilities and parks.
