Support and enrich the lives of residents as a full time Recreation Therapist at Bethany Cochrane, Alberta. Engage with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to deliver excellence in resident care. As a Recreation Therapist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing recreation programs that promote physical, sensory, and emotional engagement for residents.

You will ensure ongoing assessments and adapt activities to meet changing needs while documenting care effectively. Collaborating with community resources will enhance the variety of programming offered. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop resident-centered recreation programs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of resident needs
- Maintain accurate records of therapy outcomes
- Coordinate with community partners for enriching activities
- Mentor and guide Recreation Therapy Assistants and students Requirements:
- Diploma in Recreation Therapy; degree is a plus
- Experience with geriatric or dementia populations preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificates
