Job Summary

Join a dynamic construction organization as a General Contractor's Assistant, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will drive successful project execution. In this energetic role, you will support the lead contractor in daily operations, assist on home renovations, ensure that construction projects progress smoothly from start to finish and also have the opportunity to construct new homes. Your proactive approach and hands-on skills will be essential in maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency on-site.

Duties

- Assist the general contractor with daily site management, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Aid in home renovations, painting, demolition and removal of old materials, and other general repairs
- Assist with the installation of frames, drywalls, flooring, cabinetry, electrical components, and plumbing fixtures.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and effectively for various tasks
- Must be efficient in measuring/cutting construction materials




- Must be able to load and unload construction tools and supplies and transport them around the worksite safely with loads up to 60 lb.
- Conduct site inspections for quality control, safety compliance, and progress tracking
- Prepare and organize materials, tools, and supplies for different phases of construction projects quickly and effectively.
- Must always follow worksite safety procedures and report anything dangerous you may find on the worksite.
- Must be flexible with travel

Experience

- Hands-on skills with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery operation preferred not required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving
