Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Construction Labourer to join our energetic team. In this role, you will support various construction projects by performing physical tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help us deliver exceptional living spaces for our residents.

Duties

- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to support carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, and other trades.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements.
- Support skilled workers with tasks such as drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, cabinet installation, and painting.
- Perform general site maintenance, including caulking, electrical work assistance, plumbing support, and restoration tasks.
- Operate machinery (skidsteek, telehandler) safely under supervision and adhere to all safety protocols.




- Contribute to accurate construction estimating by providing on-site observations and feedback.

Qualifications

- Previous construction experience or familiarity with construction sites is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment operation.
- Knowledge of various trades such as carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and concrete finishing is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality.
- Valid certifications in heavy equipment operation or relevant trade skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
