Job Overview

We are a growing property management company in Sudbury, Ontario looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team.

This is a hands-on position involving a variety of maintenance, property upkeep, cleaning, landscaping, and general labour tasks at residential rental properties throughout Sudbury. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable handling different tasks from day to day.

Responsibilities

- Perform general property maintenance and minor repairs
- Complete basic painting, drywall patching, caulking, and touch-up work
- Assist with apartment turnover and unit preparation between tenants
- Perform interior and exterior cleaning as required
- Complete landscaping work including grass cutting, trimming, raking, and general yard cleanup
- Perform seasonal property maintenance and outdoor cleanup
- Complete garbage, debris, and unwanted-item removal
- Load and unload materials, supplies, furniture, and equipment
- Complete dump runs and transport materials between properties
- Assemble, install, or replace basic property items and fixtures
- Assist contractors and maintenance personnel when required
- Identify and report maintenance issues or property damage
- Pick up and deliver supplies and materials
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Complete other general labour, maintenance, and property-related tasks as required

Compensation & Benefits
- $20-$25/hour
- 25–40 hours per week
- 2 weeks paid vacation

Qualifications
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Reliable transportation
- Must live in Sudbury, Ontario
- Previous experience in general labour, maintenance, construction, landscaping, painting, cleaning, or a related field is an asset
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying materials
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and manage assigned tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Professional and respectful when working around tenants and occupied rental properties
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of different tasks

Property maintenance experience is an asset but is not required. We are willing to train the right person. We are primarily looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, practical, and willing to learn. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, likes having variety in their day, and is comfortable working independently at different properties throughout Sudbury.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
