Heritage Wood Restoration is a family-run business with over 35 years of experience in the log home restoration industry. Based in Oro-Medonte, we travel throughout Ontario providing specialized restoration and maintenance services for log homes, cottages, docks, and decks.

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable General Labourer to join our crew for the remainder of the season.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to gain valuable experience in the construction, restoration, and skilled trades industries.

As part of our crew, you'll work alongside experienced team members and assist with a variety of restoration projects.

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing log homes for restoration, both indoors and outdoors
- Taping windows and protecting areas with plastic before blasting, staining, or painting
- Loading and filling sandblasting equipment with media
- Assisting with media blasting and surface preparation
- Staining and painting log homes, docks, and decks
- Helping with chinking, caulking, and energy-sealing projects
- Setting up and organizing tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials
- Loading and unloading equipment and supplies
- Maintaining a clean and organized job site
- Cleaning up and securing the site at the end of each project
- Following all safety procedures and working as part of a team

What We're Looking For The right candidate is:
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour




- Comfortable working outdoors for approximately 8 hours per day
- Comfortable working at heights
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Able to work independently and as part of a crew
- Comfortable travelling to job sites throughout Ontario
- Able to work occasional weekends and overtime when required

Requirements
- Valid driver's licence
- Reliable transportation to and from our Oro-Medonte shop
- Working at Heights training
- Ability to lift and handle equipment and materials
- Previous construction, restoration, painting, or general labour experience is an asset, but not required
