Duties

- Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes to ensure safe handling of goods.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipping, utilizing order picker tools and warehouse management systems.
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks to move materials efficiently within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and maintaining exact records of incoming and outgoing items.
- Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipment details, inspecting cargo for damage, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by properly storing materials and adhering to safety protocols at all times.




- Collaborate with team members on construction-related projects or heavy lifting tasks that require mechanical knowledge or specialized equipment.

Requirements

- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes.
- Mechanical knowledge or prior experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a regular basis up to 55-70 LB.
- Experience with order picking, shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory management systems.
- Construction or industrial experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in handling diverse tasks.
- Valid certification for forklift operation or crane operation is preferred; training can be provided for qualified candidates.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and record keeping.
