Cariboo

Memorial is under renovation with planned completion of 2026! The CMH redevelopment project includes an addition to the existing hospital as well as renovations to the existing facility. The addition will add 25 in-patient beds for a total of 53, a new emergency department and mental-health unit.

Currently, CMH is a Level 2 Community Hospital in Williams Lake with 28 inpatient beds. CMH hospital offers ER, OR, Med-Surg, and Obstetrical units. Lab and diagnostic imaging and outpatient Hemodialysis Unit are operated on-site.

Deni House is adjacent to CMH, embodies a resident centered philosophy designed to help people function at their highest level and provide the best quality of life. Deni House has 13 private and 5 3-bed rooms. Come join the collegial Anesthesia team in Williams Lake!

Permanent and Locum opportunities are available. In this community you can practice GP Anesthesia 1-5 days a week, with 1:4 or 1:5 nights of call/weekends depending on the department size. We support General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology,



Dental procedures and visiting Orthopedic Surgeons, primarily focusing on knee and hip replacements.

The community also has permanent and visiting orthopedic surgeons, visiting plastic surgeons and ENT surgeons.

Experience would be an asset but we have the capacity to mentor new graduates. The successful applicants can expect to have a highly collaborative and interactive medical setting as well as the prospect to educate medical students and family practice residence. There is an opportunity to have a part time Family Practice office, an ER practice, join our local Longterm Care Group or GP oncology group.

If you have an interest in a limited scope Interventional Chronic Pain service, dependent on training, it can be accommodated.
