SALARY RANGE: $53,743 - $94,18 1 (depending on qualifications & experience)

Gaglardi Academy has one grade 2/3 elementary teaching position available for the 2026-2027 school year. The full-time position is from August 31, 2026, to June 25, 2026 and may continue into future years.

PJGA is a growing interdenominational Grade K-12 independent Christian school in the beautiful Comox Valley, British Columbia. Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional with a passion for Christ, children, and learning. The successful candidate must provide a pastoral reference and be willing to sign a Community Code of Conduct Agreement.



Qualities and skills for the ideal candidate should include, but are not limited to:

- Must be a committed, church-attending Christian
- Must be a BC-certified teacher for the 2026-2027 school year
- Willing to work collaboratively, planning, teaching, and assessing within a team-based workplace
- Experience in teaching primary grades would be an asset
- Committed to and practicing differentiated instruction and Universal Design for Learning strategies
- Demonstrates a strong understanding and use of formative and summative assessments
- Familiar with Google Workspace (i.e. Google Classroom) and using technology
- Able to integrate a biblical worldview into all lessons
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
