South Main Market is a busy Small Grocery Store with an in store Bakery and Deli that has been operated and managed by the current owners for 30 years. We want to cut back and are looking for someone to become part of our Team. The wage/salary is negotiable depending on experience .

Many of our staff have worked with us for over a decade - some for two decades so that goes to show we are a outstanding place to work and feel strongly about a positive, respectful work environment. Unfortunately even through we have amazing staff no one wants to take on management responsibility.

We would like someone who is willing to learn all the aspects of our store including the bakery,



deli and cashier positions and is willing to work during the week and weekends as well as day and evening shifts (we close at 7 so you're out by 7:15 !!). The assistant manager would be responsible for managing the staff and being the link between the owners and the staff. The position would be Full Time and sometimes require more than 5 days in a week or 40 hours in a week during circumstances of staff illness or holidays.

You must be physically fit, able to lift 40 lb cases of product and have a drivers licence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
