Availability: Must be available weekends - Mid-week shifts available occassionally

Type: Part Time 10 to 20 hours

Join the Squamish Canyon Guest Experience Team and help create memorable experiences for visitors at Squamish's newest eco-attraction. Opened in August 2025, Squamish Canyon features a 1.5 km boardwalk and canyon walkway through the coastal rainforest along Mamquam Canyon, offering guests a unique connection to nature.

As a Guest Experience Associate, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service, sharing information, and helping ensure every visitor leaves with a positive experience. Team members are cross-trained and may also support the Café, Gift Shop, and Operations teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

- Welcome and assist guests with a friendly, professional attitude.

- Answer questions and provide information about attractions, services, and policies.

- Resolve guest concerns and escalate issues when needed.

- Promote a positive and inclusive guest experience.

- Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for Squamish Canyon.

- Additional duties as needed

Admissions & Operations
- Process ticket sales and payments accurately.

- Handle cash, reconcile tills, and maintain transaction records.





- Maintain organized guest services documentation and tracking systems.

- Keep ticketing and guest-facing areas clean, organized, and welcoming.

- Collaborate with internal teams, tour operators, and external partners.

- Support daily operational tasks and assist in other departments as required.

Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and passionate about customer service.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with computers, cash handling, POS systems, and basic math.

- Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Reliable team player with strong problem-solving skills.

- Previous experience in customer service, retail, admissions, or tourism is an asset.

- Willingness to complete a Criminal Record Check.

- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Work Workplace
- Outdoor, guest-facing role in varying weather conditions.

- Requires standing and walking for extended periods.

- May occasionally lift up to 20 lbs and use step stools or ladders.
