We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair styling services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Duties
- Perform hair cutting, coloring, and styling services according to client preferences and current trends.
- Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their desired styles and any necessary maintenance.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and promote retail sales.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license or certification in the state of practice.
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in retail sales is a plus, particularly in upselling products related to hair care.
