The Opportunity

Highspring is seeking a Head of Data & AI Platform to lead the strategy, evolution, and operational excellence of a global enterprise Data & AI Platform. This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining the long-term vision, driving enterprise-wide adoption of data and AI capabilities, and building the technical foundation required to support advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and next-generation digital initiatives.

As the leader of a multi-level organization of managers and technical experts, you will oversee platform strategy, capability roadmaps, service delivery, and business outcomes while partnering closely with executive stakeholders to align platform investments with organizational priorities.

What You'll Do

- Define, communicate, and execute the enterprise strategy for a global Data & AI Platform while ensuring alignment with executive technology priorities.
- Lead and develop a multi-level organization consisting of managers, architects, engineers, and technical specialists.
- Establish and manage platform roadmaps, portfolio priorities, service evolution, KPIs, and measurable business outcomes.
- Drive enterprise-wide adoption of data and AI capabilities through strategic partnerships with business and technology stakeholders.
- Build the foundational capabilities required to enable agentic AI, advanced analytics, machine learning, and future AI innovations.




- Ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, reliable, and integrated across global operations.
- Influence enterprise-level technology decisions and align cross-functional teams around platform investments and priorities.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with cloud providers, technology vendors, and industry partners.
- Represent the organization externally through industry events, executive presentations, and strategic partner engagements.
- Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to guide long-term platform evolution and innovation.
- Resolve complex issues, balance competing priorities, and ensure delivery remains aligned with strategic objectives.
- Champion operational excellence, service reliability, continuous improvement, and innovation across the platform ecosystem.

What You Bring to the Table
- 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, artificial intelligence, platform engineering, or related technology disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience leading managers and multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Proven experience building, scaling, and operating enterprise technology platforms.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise digital transformation and AI adoption initiatives across large, complex organizations.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational development skills.
- Experience managing complex technology portfolios,



investments, and strategic initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive decisions.

Core Skills Required
- Deep expertise in modern Data & AI architectures.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, data lakehouses, streaming technologies, and distributed systems.
- Experience with MLOps, AI/ML platform capabilities, and emerging agentic AI frameworks.
- Knowledge of enterprise security, governance, compliance, privacy, and risk management practices.
- Ability to translate business objectives into scalable technical capabilities and operating models.
- Experience driving platform performance, reliability, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Expertise in organizational change management and technology adoption.
- Strong vendor management and strategic partnership experience.
- Ability to align technology strategy with measurable business outcomes.
