Duties

- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning living areas to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace
- Support individuals with disabilities or dementia by implementing personalized care plans and engaging them in meaningful activities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor health status, report changes, and ensure proper care delivery

Requirements





- Proven experience working as a Health Care Aide or in similar caregiving roles, preferably in in-home support, assisted living or nursing home settings
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care expertise
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent credential is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
