- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their comfort and independence
- Support medication administration following proper protocols to ensure safety and compliance
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and engaging atmosphere
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment
- Support residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Assist with specialized care needs including dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities




- Document care activities accurately in compliance with facility policies and procedures

Skills

- Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly valued
- Strong background in senior care, including dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and caregiving best practices
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within a home care or healthcare setting
