Contribute to patient care as a Health Information Management Assistant in Fort Qu'Appelle, focusing on maintaining health records and performing administrative tasks in a full-time temporary role. Help uphold healthcare standards and compliance through diligent record-keeping. In this position, reporting to the Health Records Supervisor, you will assemble and maintain health records while coding and abstracting clinical data according to standards.
The role also involves financial duties, reception tasks, and responding to patient inquiries, ensuring efficient operations in the health information department. Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and accurately maintain health records
- Ensure proper coding and abstracting of clinical data
- Respond to information requests adhering to policies
- Transcribe and disseminate medical reports effectively
- Conduct clerical duties including data entry and reception Requirements:
- Health Information Management diploma required
- Certification from Canadian College of Health Records Administrators
- Registration with Canadian Health Information Management Association
- No more than 6 months of experience necessary
- Excellent clerical and analytical skills required Ensure compliance and effective health record management as a key Assistant in Fort Qu'Appelle.
