Bushell Transport is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our Acheson shop.

We’re looking for a skilled, dependable mechanic who takes pride in quality work, knows how to troubleshoot, and understands the importance of keeping a heavy-haul fleet safe, reliable, and moving.

What You’ll Do

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and CVIP inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, diesel, and hydraulic systems
- Complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Maintain accurate work orders and service records
- Communicate repair needs and equipment status with drivers and operations
- Mentor apprentices and support the shop team

What You Bring





- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
- 2+ years of heavy-duty truck, trailer, or equipment experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s licence; Class 1 is an asset
- CVIP experience is an asset
- A robust commitment to safety and quality workmanship
